In the very beginning, we were called “Burgers Boys.” But when you grow up in raw nature, with family stories rooted somewhere between the sand dunes and the endless sea, you become more than just burger boys.
Our story is part of the tale of our beloved island, which made our name obvious.
We are Lighthouse Burgers.
Our brand is meant to be a beacon for everyone. Not least for ourselves.
Our name carries our heritage and our identity. We are still Kalle, Ralle, Moth – and the whole team around us.
Lighthouse Burgers is a new way of thinking about burgers. But really, it’s more than that. We are a new culture.
A new community that builds on the youth we grew up with.
A culinary playground for good experiences. A place you remember – and return to again and again.

Kalle’s grandfather was one of Fanø’s local butchers. Today, his old shop sets the scene for our very first burger bar.
And the values that defined a true butcher back then aren’t far from the ones we live by today: craftsmanship, passion, respect, and uncompromising standards – mixed with curiosity, youth, and a hint of who gives a fuck.
We use local ingredients – first and foremost freshly ground organic beef from Varde Ådal.
Every menu has been tested again and again. Ingredients chosen, rejected, and chosen anew.
Our vegetarian burger isn’t about giving up meat – it’s about choosing a different flavor, and maybe even a different mindset.
There’s room for everyone here, with wide open skies and the dunes as our front yard.
Eating a Lighthouse Burger is a special experience. A little moment.
